What are the device requirements for the Netpresenter Slide Player?

How do I deploy the Netpresenter Desktop App/ Netpresenter Slide Player via Intune?

If you wish to deploy the Netpresenter Desktop App then this document will help you set up the deployment within Intune:

My Slide Player shows an error message: ‘Error downloading Presentation’. What do I do?

When this error occurs, it would be best to contact Netpresenter support as there are multiple reasons this can occur. To pinpoint the right reason, logging can be turned on and these log files can be sent to our support team.

You can enable logging in the file C:\programData\Next Slides\config.json, at the end of the line you will see }} pasted in between this:

, “logging”:[“LOGFLAG_KEEP”, “LOGFLAG_REPLICATOR”]

It then looks like this:

}, “logging”:[“LOGFLAG_KEEP”, “LOGFLAG_REPLICATOR”]}

If adjusting the json fails or is unclear, you can also send it to us so we will adjust it for you. After that you can reboot the computer. As soon as the problem occurs again, I would like to ask you to send us the log files. These are stored in C:\ProgramData\Next Slides\Store.
Remember to remove the log settings from the config.json if they are no longer needed.

How do I connect my SharePoint to my Content Hub?

To use SharePoint content in your Content Hub you need to give the NCH permission to fetch content. To do this you first need to create an app in Azure and Connect this to your NCH. After this is done you need to map the SharePoint in an “External Connection in the NCH.

To enable this feature, you can follow the steps in the following guide.

What if my video will not play within the Netpresenter Slide Player?

The Netpresenter Player/Screensaver needs specific codecs to be able to play MP4 videos by default. Please install the necessary codes on the client machine to view the videos correctly.

Codec packs are mostly free of charge. We recommend the K-Lite codec pack, you can download it here:
