10 Powerful Netpresenter features to help you improve

To help you make the most of our platform, we’ve put together a list of ten features that help you improve employee communication and make information sharing across your organization smoother and more effective.

1. QR codes for Digital Signage

Want to link employees to additional information directly from your Digital Signage screens? With the QR code feature, you can do just that. By adding a URL in the ‘Hyperlink field’, it’s instantly converted into a QR code that appears on the TV screens. Employees can use their mobile phones to scan the QR code for full access to messages, documents, surveys, videos, intranet pages, or any external site.

2. Focal Point for smart image cropping

The Focal Point feature enables smart image cropping in your templates. Whether you’re working with portrait or landscape images, simply select the most important part of the image, and Focal Point will ensure it’s perfectly cropped and displayed across all screens.

3. Corporate Lockscreen and Wallpaper

The Corporate Lock Screen and Corporate Wallpaper work together to transform employee PC screens into powerful communication tools. The Corporate Lock Screen captures attention at each sign-in by delivering relevant messages, while the Corporate Wallpaper keeps key updates visible on desktop backgrounds. Together, they provide a seamless, visually engaging way to inform your workforce without disrupting their workflow, ensuring essential information reaches everyone in the organization.

4. GIFs to bring messages to life

You can add animated GIFs to your messages directly through our GIPHY integration. Choose from hundreds of fun GIFs to make your content engaging and memorable, adding a spark to everyday communications.

5. Advanced scheduling for precise message timing

With advanced scheduling, you can precisely time your messages to display at ideal moments, such as during lunch breaks or at the end of the workday. This ensures your messages are timely, relevant, and seamlessly integrated into your employees’ routines.

6. Seamless integrations with SharePoint, Power BI, etc.

Netpresenter integrates with popular tools like SharePoint and Power BI. Automatically pull content from these tools and display it on your screens, keeping employees informed with the latest information without the need for double entry.

7. (Desktop) Ticker to share urgent updates

The Desktop Ticker is now available for Content Hub users. This tool continuously displays important headlines in a scrolling format at the bottom of employees’ screens, ensuring everyone stays informed of system alerts, policy updates, and other critical notifications. Message Server users can add a ticker to each message in a channel. For a general ticker with all messages, you can contact our support department to enable this feature.

8. Alerts with pre-defined Alert Scenarios

To ensure utmost preparedness and rapid response during critical events, Netpresenter Alerts offer pre-defined Alert Scenarios. These alert scenarios can be prioritized to match the urgency of different emergency situations, with scenarios for low, medium, and high-priority levels. As soon as an alert is needed, it only needs to be published, saving crucial time.

9. Free template sets

For Message Server users, a wide range of template sets is available here, including office sets, content creator sets, cybersecurity sets, and more. For Content Hub users, these template packs will soon be available automatically.

10. LinkedIn integration with new templates

In response to popular demand, we’re excited to introduce a LinkedIn integration with two templates: one to feature a single post and another to showcase the latest three posts. Both templates include a QR code or button for added interactivity. This makes it easy to keep employees connected to your brand’s LinkedIn presence and up-to-date with real-time social updates.
