Introducing: Luc, Head of Marketing at Netpresenter
Hi! I’m Luc, and after studying Commercial Economics at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, I started working at Netpresenter in 2009. I began as a Sales Assistant and over the years worked my way up to my current role as Head of Marketing. At Netpresenter, I’ve always been given the space to explore broadly, develop myself, and take steps in my career, and by now I’m part of the Management Team. In 2025, I proudly celebrated my 15-year anniversary – a wonderful milestone I never thought I’d reach in my very first job.
Why Netpresenter is the right fit for me
A company from Limburg that works with major international organizations is something I still find unique. Our clients range from local businesses to large multinationals in the Netherlands and Belgium, and even entire hospital chains in the United States. What makes Netpresenter truly special to me is the strong focus on innovation. We continuously reinvent ourselves and work with the latest technologies – it’s no coincidence we were among the first to integrate AI into our platform. Even after all these years, I’m still not tired of our product, precisely because we keep improving and developing our software every single day.
What makes my job fun
No day at Netpresenter is the same, and my work is very diverse. What I enjoy most is the mix of strategic, creative, and hands-on tasks. I collaborate with colleagues from different teams – from marketing and sales to design and product development – which makes my job even more dynamic. There’s plenty of room for initiative, to try out ideas, and to make decisions quickly. On top of that, of course, we have great extras like delicious lunches, flexible working hours, our pool table, the soccer field, and the PlayStation (where we have daily, competitive FIFA battles). But above all, it’s the atmosphere with my colleagues that makes the real difference for me. Whether it’s silly memes, office pranks, Friday afternoon drinks, or after-work activities: that sense of fun is what makes working at Netpresenter so enjoyable!
My way of working
The motto “Work hard, play hard” perfectly fits both Netpresenter and myself. I believe it’s important to have a positive atmosphere and room for humor, because when you can laugh together, you work better together and achieve the best results. Michael Scott from The Office is secretly my role model in that, and I try to bring that same approach into the way I work, both within my team and across the organization.
My philosophy: “Don’t ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone for any reason ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you’ve been… ever, for any reason whatsoever….”
